Meet John
Strong leadership and commitment to public service defines John Whitmire. He has spent his adult life working for Houstonians in our state’s Capitol and now John is running for Houston Mayor. From improving public safety by being tough but smart on crime to improving our streets and infrastructure, to making City Hall more efficient to benefit everyone. John Whitmire wants to use his years of experience to make Houston a better place to work and live.
